About The Role Home Manager – The Manse, Haverfordwest (Pembrokeshire) Full-time | 38 hours per week Salary: £36,000 – £37,132 (depending on experience) We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Home Manager to lead our team at The Manse, a residential home for adults with autism and complex needs in Haverfordwest. About Us Orbis Education and Care is a leading provider of specialist care and support for adults and children with autism. The Manse is one of our adult homes in Pembrokeshire, offering a supportive, person-centred environment where independence and quality of life come first. About the Role As Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home — managing staff, overseeing care plans, handling budgets, and making sure everything meets the highest standards. You’ll be key to building a positive, high-performing culture where both residents and staff feel valued and supported. Your responsibilities will include: Managing staff and leading by example. Ensuring the home is fully compliant with all regulations and best practice. Overseeing risk management, safeguarding, and any concerns or complaints. Working closely with families, external professionals, and regulators. Keeping everything on track with regular reports and home improvement planning.  What We’re Looking For: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults). Registered with Social Care Wales. Previous experience in a management role within a similar setting. A solid understanding of autism and complex needs. Confident in leading a team and supporting staff development. Great communication and organisational skills.  Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.  What You’ll Get in Return: Competitive salary and progression opportunities.
