What You'll Be Doing as a Nursing Home Manager:
As the Nursing Home Manager, you'll lead from the front-creating a positive, forward-thinking culture that brings out the best in your team and offers residents the highest standard of living.
Key Responsibilities for the Home Manager include:
Motivate and manage a compassionate care team, leading with integrity and vision
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and implement clinical governance best practices
Drive performance, occupancy, and financial success of the home
Lead recruitment, staff retention, and training to build a strong, stable workforce
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders
Implement continuous improvement strategies across the home
Ensure safe working practices, robust risk management, and a thriving care environment
What We're Looking For in the Nursing Home Manager:
✅ A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing a large residential or nursing care service
✅ Strong knowledge of CQC standards and care sector regulations
✅ Inspirational leadership style with excellent people management skills
✅ Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets and occupancy targets
✅ A passion for building inclusive, supportive cultures where staff and residents thrive
✅ NMC registration is desirable but not essential
