We are recruiting for a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage, working within a well-established horticultural machinery business. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of modern horticultural equipment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to keep machinery operating at its best. If you have experience as a mechanic, agricultural engineer, groundcare engineer or within horticultural machinery, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career.

As a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage, you will:

Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software
Service, maintain and repair horticultural machinery and equipment
Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work
Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
Safely operate machinery and use specialist tools
Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescalesWhat we're looking for

To succeed in this Horticultural Engineer role in Stevenage, you will need:

Experience working with horticultural, agricultural, groundcare or similar machinery
Strong mechanical understanding and fault-finding ability
Experience with servicing, maintenance and repairs
