Job Description
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting an audio typist to work at a hospital in the Telford area.
Job roles:
Working within the ENT department, listening to recorded audios such as dictated notes and letters and typing them into a written document.
Transcribing text documents, patient letters, reports and discharge summaries.
Creating well-present documents, such as reports, letters and correspondence
Managing printing and posting letters.
Filling and faxing documents.
Managing patient databases, updating files, and diary managements.
Other administration duties to support the department; taking calls, booking appointments, and handling general office duties.
Requirements:
Must be confident in fast and accurate typing, with strong spelling and grammar
Must be able to obtain a BASIC DBS DISCLOSURE
Good organisation skills
Ideally have previous experience in this role or a similar position
About you:
Able to work at a fast pace
accurately and methodically
Meet deadlines
Able to use medical terminology
Hours: Monday to Friday ongoing - various shift patterns available; 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm
Pay rate: £13.50 an hour
