About Us

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and engaging Hospitality Tutor to deliver practical and theory-based sessions to students. You’ll support young people in developing skills in areas such as food preparation, kitchen safety, customer service, and teamwork.

This role is ideal for someone with a hospitality background who enjoys working with young people and helping them build real-life skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  * Delivering engaging hospitality sessions (practical and classroom-based)

  * Teaching key skills such as food hygiene, preparation, and service

  * Supporting students to develop confidence, teamwork, and employability skills

  * Creating a safe, structured and positive learning environment

  * Monitoring progress and celebrating achievements

What We’re Looking For

  * Experience in hospitality (e.g. kitchen, catering, service, hospitality management)

  * Experience working with young people or a willingness to learn

  * A calm, patient and approachable manner

  * Strong communication and people skills

  * Ability to engage and motivate students who may have disengaged from education

  * Teaching or training qualification

  * Food Hygiene certificate

  * Experience with SEN or SEMH

  * Experience in alternative provision
