Senior Insurance Administrator – Home Insurance Department
Location: North East London (Office-based with occasional work-from-home flexibility)
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced insurance administrator with a solid background in personal lines? We’re recruiting for a proactive Senior Insurance Administrator to join our clients Home Insurance Department. This role is perfect if you have experience working with delegated authority and open market schemes and want to be part of a busy, supportive team.
You’ll be key to managing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent client service, and keeping everything running smoothly within the department. If you are organised, communicate well, and have a strong attention to detail, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the department’s daily workflow and ensure tasks are completed on time
* Communicate with clients via email, telephone, and written correspondence
* Prepare monthly renewal lists and issue renewal documentation
* Generate quotations for new business and handle related admin
* Liaise with insurers on client policies and referrals
* Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with FCA and company policies
* Oversee claim files and monitor progress
* Adhere to all company policies and FCA regulations
* Complete mandatory training within deadlines
* Work within delegated underwriting authorities
* Collaborate with management to identify and meet training needs

Our client is an independent, well-established general insurance broker. The Personal Lines division offer home insurance solutions through delegated authority schemes and open market policies.
The office is based in North East London with excellent transport links and free staff parking
