Job Description
Role: Live-out Houseman / Chauffeur / Gardener
Location: High Street Kensington
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 (depending upon experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm (occasional weekend availability)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start: Immediate/flexible
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and multi-skilled Houseman / Chauffeur / Gardener to join a private household in High Street Kensington
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with driving duties, property upkeep, light gardening, and general maintenance. This is a varied and hands-on role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chauffeuring the family as required
* Keeping external areas clean, including patio, driveway, and bins
* Performing light gardening in front and back gardens (previous gardening experience, a plus)
* Conducting general household repairs and light maintenance
* Assisting the housekeeping team with exterior cleaning tasks
* Dog walking and supporting with pet care and routines
* Coordinating and assisting with household schedules
Working conditions:
* Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
* Occasional weekend work (up to 8 days annually), with 2 days off in lieu per single weekend day worked
* Any additional weekend days worked beyond 8 days per year will be paid at £20/hour
* Overtime after 5:30pm on weekdays paid at £20/hour
* 28 days paid holiday (to be taken when the family are travelling)
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar combined role (driver, houseman, gardener, or handyman)
* Full, clean UK driving license and DBS check
* Good knowledge of London routes and traffic patterns
* Comfortable with manual work
