Housing Allocations Officer
* Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Up to £25.00 per hour
* Temporary on-going (minimum 12 weeks)

An established housing provider is seeking an Allocations Officer to join their team on a 12-week project during the rollout of a new allocations policy. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the local community while applying your specialist knowledge in a focused, short-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers affected by changes to the allocations policy
* Process and update housing applications in line with revised criteria
* Cleanse and maintain the housing register for accuracy and compliance
* Provide advice and respond to Part 6 housing allocations enquiries
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Previous experience working within a housing allocations team
* Strong knowledge of Part 6 of the Housing Act 1996
* Proficiency in using the Abritas Allocations System
* Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
This role is based on-site, offering a collaborative team environment and the chance to contribute to meaningful service improvements.
