Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Housing & Homelessness Advisor to join a well-established organisation supporting vulnerable adults with complex housing needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in housing, homelessness or adult social care who is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable people. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, providing specialist advice and practical support around housing, homelessness, tenancy sustainment and safeguarding, while working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes. The role also offers the opportunity to support colleagues with complex casework, contribute to service development and play a key part in maintaining high standards across the service. Key Responsibilities Manage a complex caseload of adults with housing and homelessness needs. Provide specialist housing advice and tenancy sustainment support. Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding interventions where appropriate. Work closely with local authorities, housing providers and other partner organisations. Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service reporting and improvement. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience working within housing, homelessness or adult social care. A strong understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults. Excellent assessment, advocacy and case management skills. Experience working in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
