The Role:
You’ll handle a caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from instruction through to settlement or litigation. Experience managing your own files is essential, and applicants must be confident with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair and relevant legislation.
The ideal candidate:
* Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or experienced Litigation Executive
* Minimum 12 months' experience in housing disrepair
* Solid understanding of Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Section 4 of the Defective Premises Act 1972, and case law on nuisance and negligence
* Strong negotiation and litigation risk awareness
* Excellent client care and communication skills
* Ability to meet billing and settlement targets
