Job Title: Housing Enforcement & Domestic Abuse Specialist Location: London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1UW Department: Homes & Communities Start Date: 21st July 2025 End Date: 26th October 2025 Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Contract Type: Temporary (3 months) Pay Rates: Umbrella: £24.19 per hour About the Role: We are currently seeking a Housing Enforcement & Domestic Abuse Specialist to join the Homes & Communities team at the London Borough of Hillingdon. This role plays a key part in enforcing housing standards and supporting vulnerable residents affected by domestic abuse, ensuring compliance with legislation and promoting safe, secure housing environments. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and respond to housing complaints, including those related to harassment, illegal evictions, and poor property conditions Carry out enforcement duties under housing legislation including HHSRS assessments Support residents experiencing domestic abuse, ensuring timely intervention, safeguarding, and signposting to appropriate services Collaborate with internal teams, landlords, and external agencies to improve housing conditions and resident safety Maintain accurate case records and produce reports and evidence for legal proceedings where required Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in housing enforcement, tenancy management, or related fields Strong knowledge of relevant housing legislation and enforcement powers Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those affected by domestic abuse Excellent communication and case management skills Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload Must be eligible to work in the UK Must provide: Up-to-date CV Two professional references Photo ID Right to work documentation Completed Criminal Convictions Declaration To Apply: Please send your CV and supporting documents to RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
