About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team and deliver exceptional housing management services across Cheshire. You will play a key role in supporting tenants, managing properties, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring tenancy agreements are upheld.
* Provide advice and support to tenants on housing-related issues.
* Conduct property inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly.
* Handle rent collection, arrears management, and tenancy enforcement.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to resolve issues.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and housing legislation.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in housing management or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy agreements.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and work under pressure.
