We are currently working with a well-established Housing Association to recruit an experienced Housing Officer on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy housing team and provide essential support during a transitional period.
Your new role
Manage a designated patch of housing stock, delivering a high-quality tenancy management service
Handle a varied caseload including rent arrears, tenancy sustainment, and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
Conduct tenancy visits, estate inspections, and home visits, ensuring properties and communities are well maintained
Provide advice and support to tenants, including signposting to relevant services where required
Take appropriate action on tenancy breaches in line with policy and legislation
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective housing services
Maintain accurate records and update housing management systemsWhat you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working in a Housing Officer role within a housing association or local authority
Strong understanding of Scottish housing legislation and tenancy management
Proven ability to manage rent arrears and ASB cases effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to hit the ground running and manage a busy caseloadWhat you'll get in return
