Housing Officer - Exeter (with travel to Plymouth twice a week)
We’re seeking a proactive and people-focused Housing Officer to join our client's team based in Exeter. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality housing services across a mixed-tenure portfolio, with regular travel to Plymouth twice weekly.
You’ll play a key role in managing tenancies, tackling anti-social behaviour, resolving neighbourhood issues, and contributing to the creation of safe, inclusive, and sustainable communities. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll help drive service improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively manage a varied housing caseload in Plymouth

Address tenancy breaches and neighbourhood concerns effectively
*
Foster strong relationships with residents, partners, and stakeholders
*
Ensure accurate data management and compliance with housing regulations
*
Participate in estate inspections and support local community initiatives
What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience in housing management (tenancy, leasehold, ASB, compliance)

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Ability to work confidently with multiple teams and partner agencies
