Housing Officer
Location: Ashfield District Council, Urban Road, Kirkby, Nottingham, NG178DA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 5+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 20.75 per hour

Job Responsibilities
Manage and oversee housing allocations and tenancy agreements to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Provide advice and support to tenants on housing-related issues, including maintenance, rent payments, and dispute resolution.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
Collaborate with external agencies and community organizations to support tenants and enhance housing services.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to housing operations and tenant interactions.
Person Specifications
Strong understanding of housing policies, regulations, and tenancy law.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support and advise tenants.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
