Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5pm)
Salary: £28,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum
Are you a proactive and compassionate professional with excellent management skills?
We're looking for a dedicated Housing Officer to join our Operations team, covering the Southeast and Southwest. This is a vital, field-based role where you will directly support service users and manage a portfolio of properties.
Candidates must have a full UK Driving License and access to their own vehicle.
What You'll Be Doing:
Service User Support: Manage your own caseload of (Apply online only) service users. You will conduct regular welfare checks, assist with move-ins, and signpost clients to essential support agencies. Your focus will be on ensuring their health and safety are maintained at all times.
Property Management: Oversee a property portfolio by conducting monthly inspections, reporting defects, managing maintenance, and ensuring properties are prepared for re-occupation or handed back to landlords.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with your team, line manager, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing cover for other staff and will be on call for significant emergencies.
Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all service users and properties, ensuring all documentation and procedures are followed.
