Housing Options Officer – Hertfordshire (Hybrid, 3 Days Office-Based)
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Options Officer to join a local authority in Hertfordshire. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office and the rest working remotely.
You’ll be responsible for assessing homelessness applications, creating Personalised Housing Plans, and providing effective advice to prevent homelessness in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. The role involves working closely with landlords, partner agencies, and internal teams to secure sustainable housing solutions.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Housing Options or Homelessness Officer within a local authority.

Strong understanding of homelessness legislation and prevention work.
*
Excellent communication and case management skills.
*
Locata system experience is desirable.
