BDS Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to work at a supported housing complex in Newquay.
This role will involve working with customers with challenging behaviour in relation to mental ill health and alcohol & substance misuse.
Main duties will include
* Provide responsive, person-centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.
* Build open and trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure seamless and comprehensive support.
* Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.
Hours per week: 22 hours on a Rota pattern.
Contract; Temp ongoing role.
Pay rate: £15.34ph paye or £19.64 umbrella
Previous experience working in supported housing, or supporting those with complex needs is preferable.
