Job Description
We are now recruiting for a Housing Support Worker in the Wirral - Apply Now! This is a 6-month temporary to permanent position offering competitive hourly rates ranging from £16-£18 an hour. The role is also a hybrid position on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Mileage reimbursement available for travel expenses.
Your new role
Manage tenancy issues including voids, lettings, arrears, ASB, safeguarding, and health & safety checks.
Conduct property inspections and ensure quick turnaround of void properties.
Provide weekly personalised support to tenants in partnership with care providers.
Respond to safeguarding concerns, incidents, and tenancy breaches promptly.
Support Housing Benefit applications and resolve documentation issues.
Maintain accurate records and submit regular reports via internal systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a housing support position.
Good knowledge of housing/tenancy legislation.
Full Driving Licence and valid business insurance.
DBS is required.
