HR Administrator - Meeting Support
Location: Edinburgh East and West
Rate of Pay: £13.48 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 36 hours per
Duration: 12 weeks with possible extension
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Administrator to join our team and support our HR function. This role will play a key part in the coordination and documentation of absence management, disciplinary, and investigation meetings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate minute-taking, preparing meeting packs, and ensuring timely and confidential documentation is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend and take detailed notes at HR meetings, including absence management, disciplinary, and investigation meetings.
Prepare and distribute accurate minutes and records promptly after meetings.
Create, collate, and maintain meeting packs and supporting documentation.
Ensure all documentation is stored in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
Liaise with managers and HR team members to schedule meetings and gather relevant information.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department as required.Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a confidential setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to record accurate meeting notes.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Desirable:
Experience with absence or disciplinary casework.
Knowledge of employment law or HR processes.
