Salary: £28,521–£28,929 FTE per annum (Pro-rata: £24,505.96–£24,856.52 per annum, depending on experience)

About the Role
A highly motivated, organised, and professional HR Administrator is sought to join a central HR team supporting a group of schools based at a campus in Redbridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing HR function and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while supporting the organisation’s strong commitment to safeguarding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative support to the HR Team across the full employee lifecycle.
* Assist with recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring safeguarding and compliance procedures are followed at all times.
* Maintain and update HR records, personnel files, and the Single Central Register (SCR) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Support payroll by preparing accurate employee data and liaising with the Payroll team.
* Conduct pre-employment checks, including DBS, references, right to work, and qualifications.
* Track and monitor employee absences and probation periods, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
* Assist with HR reporting, workforce census preparation, and metrics analysis.
* Support the ongoing development of HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Be a first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing a professional and confidential service at all times.
* Keep up-to-date with safeguarding policies, Keeping Children Safe in Education, and organisational HR policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in HR or education.
* Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
* Communicates clearly and professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
* Is committed to safeguarding and understands the importance of compliance in an education setting.
* Is a team player, flexible, proactive, and keen to learn.
* Has good IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems (training can be provided).
