HR Administrator - 6-Month Contract 📍 Location: Basingstoke 💷 Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour + Benefits 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time 📄 Contract Type: Fixed-Term (6 Months) About the Role: We're looking for a capable and proactive HR Administrator with solid experience in HR support to join a busy team on a 6-month contract. This role offers hands-on involvement across core HR functions including recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle administration, and HR systems support. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate job postings, screen applications, and schedule interviews Prepare offer letters and contracts Manage onboarding documentation and induction schedulingEmployee Lifecycle Administration Process new starters, leavers, and contract changes Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems Track absences, holidays, and other leave typesHR Support & Compliance Respond to employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures Assist with disciplinary and grievance documentation and meeting coordination Ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislationHR Systems & Reporting Update and maintain HR databases and digital files Support monthly reporting and data audits Assist with payroll input and benefit claims processingEngagement & Communication Help coordinate internal communications, surveys, and recognition initiatives Support HR projects and team meetings with admin and note-taking Candidate Profile: Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS)This is a great opportunity for someone with solid HR admin experience looking to contribute to a dynamic team and further develop their skills.
