HR Advisor - Retail | North West | Up to £29,000 + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a highly respected and values-driven retail business. With a workforce of over 1,000 colleagues across both head office and retail locations, this role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their HR career, with exposure to a wide range of generalist responsibilities and meaningful people-focused initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:
Providing generalist HR support and guidance across the business, covering performance management, colleague relations, attendance, and wellbeing
Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, offering coaching and practical support across all levels
Supporting and helping to maintain accurate records in the HR system, alongside providing occasional holiday cover for administrative support
Playing a key role in the ongoing implementation of a new HR system
Collaborating with specialist teams in recruitment, payroll, and L&D
Managing occupational health referrals and supporting wellbeing strategies in partnership with internal teams and external providers
Assisting in the development and review of HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation
Producing and presenting monthly and quarterly reports on key people metrics to senior stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a similar HR Advisor role within a fast-paced, people-focused environment
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Confident in handling a variety of ER issues with professionalism and sensitivity
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
Passion for colleague wellbeing and engagement
