Part-Time HR Assistant – Haslingden £10,000 – £11,000 per annum (Pro Rata) 15 Hours Per Week | On-Site | Flexible Working Due to continued business growth, we’re recruiting a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to join our client’s HR and Finance team in Haslingden. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing, forward-thinking organisation. You’ll provide crucial administrative and operational support across a variety of HR functions, contributing to a positive employee experience and smooth HR processes across the business. Key Responsibilities: Prepare job adverts and job descriptions Liaise with recruitment agencies and assist with candidate screening Coordinate interviews and take accurate notes Draft employment contracts, offer letters, termination letters, and request references Manage employment checks and DBS processing Support onboarding and offboarding procedures Maintain and update employee records using Bright HR Assist with appraisals, performance reviews, and contract amendments Support office admin tasks including travel, expenses, and supplies What We’re Looking For: 2–5 years’ experience in a similar HR administrative role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices Experience using HR software (Bright HR preferred) Highly organised, efficient, and detail-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, discreet, and able to manage confidential information A proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset Working Hours: 15 hours per week (ideally across 2 days, between 8am–6pm) Some flexibility around working days/hours Benefits: Join a supportive, fast-growing organisation with a strong market presence Clear opportunities for professional development Free on-site parking 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro rata), increasing with service (up to 28 days) Flexible/hybrid working options considered Complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits Company social events (UK & Holland) Exclusive access to employee discount marketplace Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – confidential wellbeing support Company pension scheme Family and friend’s policies If you're a motivated HR professional seeking a rewarding part-time position where your input is valued, we’d love to hear from you
