HR Business Partner
6 month Day Rate Contract

Theale | Hybrid (3 days per week on site)This role plays a critical part in driving organisational effectiveness, cultural alignment, and performance improvement. It combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational delivery, so we're looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, a collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Business partnering with senior leaders to shape workforce strategies aligned to business objectives.
Managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, performance management, and off boarding.
Leading annual people processes such as salary reviews, bonus payments, and talent planning.
Maintaining accurate benchmark data and workforce reporting and providing people insights that support strategic decision-making.
Supporting organisational design, change management, and succession planning.
Deputising for the People Manager when required.
Regular internal stakeholders include the SLT, C-Suite, Finance, and functional leaders across the business. The role requires a strong foundation in HR best practices, employment law, and strategic business partnering.
Essential expertise needed:
CIPD Level 5 as a minimum
Deep understanding of HR operations, employment law, organisational design, and workforce planning.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to link people priorities to business goals.
Experience leading change and transformation initiatives.
Excellent communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Confidence in using data to drive insight and action. The role involves significant autonomy and judgement, with the expectation to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. It may also involve coaching and mentoring junior members of the People team or upskilling line managers across the business.
