Henmore Health Group is looking for a compassionate, collaborative and impactful HR & Compliance Manager to join our rural GP practices in beautiful Ashbourne and Brailsford. Along with a salary of up to £42,500 per annum (depending on experience), you will also receive:
* 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays
* NHS employer pension contributions 23.7%

* Mileage allowance for site visits
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. 30 hours per week is also considered, with a pro-rata salary. Please note: Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
What you’ll be doing as HR & Compliance Manager:
This is a newly established, standalone role in a growing organisation, where you will have the opportunity to create the blueprint for HR.
In parallel, you will ensure that compliance and ethical governance are at the heart of our people plans and support the business in achieving these for our patients, team and community.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Culture Change & Leadership
* Drive organisational culture change and identify priority areas for improvement and engagement.
* Develop and implement interventions to promote engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
* Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to build trust and transparency.
HR Operations
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
* Develop HR policies aligned with employment law and NHS best practice.
* Manage employee relations, performance, and wellbeing.
Compliance & Governance
* Coordinate CQC evidence base and inspection readiness.
* Support internal audits, monitor IPC reviews, and safeguarding compliance.
* Maintain governance frameworks, policies, and risk registers.
What we’re looking for in a HR & Compliance Manager:
* Have or be working towards Level 5 CIPD (or equivalent).
* HR and compliance experience in healthcare or regulated settings.
* Attention to detail to maintain the highest practice standards.
* Ideally, a strong understanding of CQC standards and NHS workforce frameworks.
* A genuine passion for people, community, and continuous improvement.
* A friendly, resilient, collaborative team player.
Working Arrangements:
Location: The role is based at our headquarters in Ashbourne DE6 1RR, and it will require regular travel to our sites in Ashbourne and Brailsford.
Working Hours: 30 or 37.5 hours per week, with the flexibility to undertake the hours between 08.00 and 18.30.
