HR Coordinator (Part time)

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £26,000 per year
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Flexible working days and hours

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day HR administration and payroll processes. This is a standalone HR role, offering the autonomy to manage your own workload while working alongside a supportive management team and colleagues across the business.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently, highly organised, and passionate about delivering an efficient and professional HR service.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage the monthly payroll process, including complex payroll requirements for drivers.

  * Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.

  * Process HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, amendments, and leaver documentation.

  * Ensure employee data is maintained in line with GDPR requirements.

  * Keep employee and vendor records accurate and up to date.

  * Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries.

  * Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

  * Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  * A minimum of 2 years' experience within a HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar HR role.

  * Previous payroll experience, including managing complex payroll processes.

  * Experience working independently within a standalone HR function or managing your own workload.

  * Good knowledge of UK employment law, HR regulations and GDPR.

  * Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

  * Experience using HR systems and confidently inputting and maintaining employee data.

  * Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
