Job Purpose
To work in an established HR team supporting on gathering, recording and delivering analysis on absence and sickness across the site. Looking at trends, patterns and delivering the results, facts regarding short and long-term absence across different departments for the HR department.
The Role
Supporting the HR team this role offers the chance to work with experienced HR mentors and in a supportive HR team where there is a "work hard - play hard" culture, an organisation that offers a great working atmosphere.
The working environment will be an excellent place to gain exposure and experience working in an HR team.
This role could suit an HR graduate who is looking to gain more exposure in an HR team and has strong analysis and IT (Excel) skills and a good understanding of HR, understanding what HR need from analysis on trends etc.
Or an HR professional looking to work flexi hours either full or part time and has experience in absence and sickness management and data recording and understands what HR are seeking from the results.
Key Responsibilities
To support the HR team with gathering and recording key data regarding long and short term site sickness.
Capable of understanding what HR are seeking from identifying trends, patterns and how sickness is effecting a department over time (looking at historical records).
Capable of putting into a report the findings and results of observing and studying sickness/absence data.
The HR Candidate
Educated to Degree level or equivalent HR work experience.
CIPD level 3 (or CIPD 5 / working towards).
Proven track record of delivering and achieving results.
Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship building and customer facing skills.
Capable of working unsupervised on tasks, achieving accurate work and has excellent attention to detail.
Capable of identifying trends, analysing data and putting information in reports.
Ability to cultivate, understand and anticipate the needs of the customer and to provide effective solutions and recommendations.
Has previous experience working in an HR department or HR graduate seeking HR working experience.
Excellent data capture experience, Excel IT skills and experience of pivot charts.
THE BENEFITS:
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
3 - 6 month assignment
