HR & Learning and Development Officer - 12-Month Maternity Cover Location: Poole Salary: £40,000 Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract TeamJobs are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR & Learning and Development Officer to join their team in Poole on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for a people-focused HR professional who thrives on creating a positive employee experience, from delivering a seamless onboarding process to driving engaging learning and development opportunities across the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage the onboarding process to ensure every new starter has a positive experience Coordinate and support learning and development initiatives across all departments Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies and best practice Handle recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, and HR administration Support employee relations, including absence management and performance reviews Contribute to HR and L&D projects, helping to enhance company culture and employee engagement What We're Looking For: Previous HR experience, ideally with exposure to Learning & Development CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or currently working towards one of these qualifications) Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail Benefits Include: 23 days holiday (rising to 30 with service) + bank holidays Funded training and development opportunities Company-funded Christmas and summer events Free on-site parking This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
