HR & Learning Officer
Location: Exeter area
12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Hybrid)
Salary: 29K - 32.5K per annum depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR & Learning Officer to join a supportive and forward-thinking People team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
In this varied role, you will support Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Wellbeing initiatives across the organisation. You will help design and deliver engaging training sessions, coordinate firmwide events, and play a key part in recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
This role requires flexibility and regular travel between offices, particularly to our Plymouth and Exeter locations, to support team activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver onboarding and induction sessions for new starters
Design and deliver engaging in-person and online training
Coordinate training, wellbeing, and career events
Manage training records, CPD processes, and provider relationships
Promote learning and wellbeing initiatives across the business
Support recruitment campaigns and candidate onboarding 
About You:
 You will be an organised, approachable, and proactive team player who enjoys working in a people-focused environment. With strong communication and presentation skills, you will bring creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting others.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Confident communicator with great interpersonal ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools (e.g. Teams, Canva)
Experience coordinating or delivering training or events
Flexible and able to travel between offices as requiredBenefits:
