Job Description
Experienced HR Manager to lead the full scope of HR operations in a generalist role. Reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager for UK Schools, you’ll act as the sole on-site HR lead at a prestigious international school for students aged 13–18.
This HR Manager role covers everything from employee relations and safer recruitment to onboarding, payroll input, compliance, and staff wellbeing. You’ll need to be confident managing casework, advising line managers, and navigating the challenges of a busy education setting.
We’re looking for a HR Manager who:

Holds CIPD Level 5 or above
*
Has strong employee relations experience, including case management and policy implementation
*
Has experience supporting or running payroll
*
Can confidently act as a generalist, balancing strategic projects with day-to-day HR operations
*
Is discreet, organised, and thrives in a role with real autonomy
As the HR Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for all staff queries, a key driver of compliance (including DBS and KCSIE checks), and a valued member of the college leadership team. You’ll also collaborate with Nord Anglia’s global HR network on wider initiatives and reporting.
