This is more than an HR role, it's a chance to have a positive impact on the people who care for others every day. You'll provide hands-on HR support across the organisation, from recruitment and employee relations to learning and engagement.
The Role
As an HR Officer, you'll be part of a team that values integrity, inclusion, and wellbeing, supporting hundreds of staff who deliver vital services to individuals across West Wales.
You'll play a vital role in:
Leading the full recruitment and onboarding process to bring new talent into care and support services.
Advising managers on employee relations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
Maintaining HR systems, records, and workforce data in line with employment law and best practice.
Supporting performance management, training, and staff development initiatives.
Championing wellbeing, inclusion, and employee engagement across the organisation.
Your work will help create a positive, supportive culture that enables staff to provide exceptional care to the people who need it most.
About You
You'll be a confident and empathetic HR professional who enjoys working collaboratively and has a strong generalist background. You'll thrive in a busy, people-focused environment where every day brings variety and purpose.
Essential:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) and Assoc CIPD membership
Experience in a generalist HR role
Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skill
