Join our clients team as an HR Officer and help shape a positive, fair, and effective workplace.
We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive HR professional to support all aspects of human resources across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance, and strong communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a comprehensive HR service, supporting compliant and effective people practices across the business.
*
Manage the full recruitment and onboarding cycle — from writing job descriptions and adverts to interviewing, working closly with agencies aand hiring candidates.
*
Prepare and maintain employment contracts, verify right-to-work documentation, and keep employee records accurate and up to date.
*
Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR).
*
Monitor and manage absence records and the onsite Time & Attendance system, liaising with Payroll to ensure accurate monthly payments.
*
Support and lead on grievance and disciplinary procedures.
*
Develop and implement HR policies on performance management, equality and diversity, working conditions, and absence management.
*
Maintain HR compliance for external audits by keeping detailed and accurate documentation.
*
Regularly update the Staff Handbook and advise on pay, benefits, and remuneration matters.
*
Provide guidance on employment law and HR best practices.
*
Collaborate with line managers to create and deliver training and development plans.
About You
*
Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 (minimum)
*
Experience: At least 2 years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment
*
Strong understanding of HR systems, policies, and employment law
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
*
High level of attention to detail, organisation, and confidentiality
