Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated HR Officer looking for a 360-generalist role? Do you have experience supporting and leading ER casework? Working for this forward-thinking multi-academy trust you will be providing high quality HR support to schools, and the central HR team in Cambridge. You will be the key HR contact for two fantastic schools in Cambridge and will require travelling between the sites therefore own transport is essential.
Hybrid working – 2-3 days a week will be based at the assigned schools or the central HR Hub the remaining days will be WFH
Non-term time will be working from home the majority of the time.
Duties & Responsibilities of the HR Officer:
* Deliver responsive, high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to ER casework and change projects, processes & procedures, and general HR queries.
* Deliver the people strategy in line with School/Area business plans and wider Trust strategic objectives.
* Support across the Trust with HR projects and change programmes which support the people vision and strategy.
* Manage and co-ordinate all generalist HR matters ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and the HR systems and operations.
* Gather and utilise HR management information (MI) to assess trends and enable effective performance measurement and targeting of resources.
What you will need to succeed as the HR Officer:
* Previous HR experience in a generalist or specialist environment.
* Exposure to supporting or leading on ER casework.
* Ideally have or currently studying towards Professional CIPD Membership (Associate) Level 3 or 5 qualification
* Experience of advising and influencing managers on matters of HR operations.
* Previous experience of managing HR processes, procedures, and policies.
* Previously worked within the education sector would be an advantage.
* To be pragmatic, adaptable, and able to come up with creative solutions in situations where policies and processes may not apply or currently exist.
