A busy and respected consultancy firm with a mission to create a world where an inclusive culture drives high performance in every workplace is looking for a HR Project Manager on an 8-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave (August-April, with possible opportunity to extend or become permanent).
This is a fully remote role (occasional travel required), offering a pro rata salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. What you’ll be doing as HR Project Manager:
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all workstreams. Taking the lead in setting up or optimising management structures and processes to manage a high number of projects from start to finish, within a fast-paced environment. This included managing team capacity, resourcing, and overseeing all aspects of the lifecycle, within a timely manner and to a high standard.
Projects may include global cultural change programmes, Return on Inclusion audits, organisational design, training, or development programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Effective management of multiple projects and deadlines, with the ability to prioritise competing workstreams within a fast-paced environment, ensuring they are executed to the highest quality.
Liaise with external stakeholders where required, to ensure work is aligned with client requirements and expectations. Providing timely updates, managing client expectations under tight deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Undertake workload planning, forecasting team capacity and assigning or reallocating relevant skilled resources to each project, using established processes.
Provide detailed reports and analysis of live projects to internal and external stakeholders. Running stand ups meetings and updating the team management on progress across the portfolio, both verbally and in writing.
Manage and maintain all projects within Asana, ensuring all workflows are kept updated and accurate.
Consider the global element to all projects and ensuring content is relevant in the countries in which the client operates.
Work in collaboration with a small, but multi-disciplined team to deliver each project.
Evaluate and measure success and challenges, in order to enhance learning for future projects.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including control measures
What we’re looking for in a HR Project Manager:
Proven experience in a Project Manager role or similar position, preferably within a consultancy, Human Resources or professional services environment.
Extensive experience of managing projects across multiple workstreams and to multiple deadlines.
Project Management qualification, such as Prince2, Agile, or Waterfall.
Strong organisational skills and experience in managing HR related projects.
Experience and knowledge of PM tools and excel.
Experience in data analysis and budget management, cost controls, budgeting, and financial oversight.
Experience in developing and embedding tracking tools, templates, and reporting frameworks tailored to consultancy environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The team are remote based.
A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the clients.
