HSE Advisor - Contract Opportunity
Location: Dundee
Project: 50MW Solar farm
Contract Length: 12 Months (Outside IR35)
Schedule: 3 Days per Week (1 On Site / 2 Remote)
Start Date: 1 April 2026
Overview
Looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to serve as the sole on‑site safety representative at their Berryhill location. The role involves delivering day‑to‑day HSE support, maintaining compliance with CDM regulations, managing documentation, and collaborating with a wider remote HSE team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the sole HSE lead on site.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and compliance checks.
Ensure full adherence to CDM 2015.
Maintain and manage all HSE documentation and site records.
Review RAMS and raise actions where required.
Carry out observations and support incident investigations.
Utilise SharePoint for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Provide clear safety guidance to contractors and project teams.
Essential Experience
Proven background as an HSE/SHEQ/HSSE Advisor or Manager.
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Confident using SharePoint for document control.
Experience delivering site inspections, compliance checks, and RAMS reviews.
Ability to conduct observations and support investigations.
Comfortable working independently as the single HSE presence on site.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Romanian language skills.
NVQ Level 4 or 6 in Occupational Health & Safety.
NEBOSH qualification.
