Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site EHS Advisor to support operations on a major onshore site located in Inchcape (EH32 9SF). This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable health, safety and environmental professional to join a fast-paced project on an initial 6-month contract, offering a highly competitive day rate up to £500 (Outside IR35).
This role is site-based full-time, therefore applicants must be within a commutable distance to Inchcape.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert EHS advice and support to site management and workforce
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and company procedures
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Support the development and implementation of safe systems of work
Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are communicated
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across site
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to EHS standards
Requirements
NEBOSH Diploma (essential)
Proven experience in a Site EHS / HSE Advisor role, ideally within construction, energy, or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
Experience working in onsite, high-risk environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and influence positive safety behaviours
