The Opportunity
As a key figure in the operational team, you'll provide expert HSE advice and guidance, conduct site audits (including occasional night shifts), and support the development of policies and procedures. You'll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are compliant, safe, and environmentally responsible.

What You'll Be Doing
Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and best practice
Act as the main point of contact for HSE matters across multiple projects
Develop and maintain HSE documentation within the Integrated Management System (IMS)
Lead on incident investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned
Monitor and report on HSE metrics, identifying areas for improvement
Maintain legal compliance registers and environmental permits
Engage and collaborate with clients, operational teams, and regulatory bodiesWhat We're Looking For
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) - essential
IOSH Membership (TechIOSH or above)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HSE Advisor role, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or civil engineering
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE-related systems
Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat's in it for You?
