Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor with in-depth knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM Regs) to support the civils clearance phase of the high-profile Sizewell C nuclear infrastructure project. This part-time role (3 days per week) is ideal for a seasoned HSE professional looking for a flexible, long-term opportunity on a nationally significant development.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert on CDM 2015 Regulations, ensuring full compliance throughout the civils clearance phase.
Provide HSE guidance and assurance to the project team, supply chain partners, and stakeholders.
Review and assess Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and associated HSE documentation.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to monitor and promote safe working practices.
Assist in incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are implemented effectively.
Liaise with the Principal Contractor and Client-side teams to maintain high HSE standards aligned with project requirements and nuclear sector best practices.
Support the preparation and submission of reports, HSE metrics, and improvement plans.
