HSE Specialist
Location: Hull, UK
We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping our HSE culture and strategy.
About the Role
As an HSE Specialist, you will provide expert guidance to ensure consistent standards across all services. You will work closely with technicians, stakeholders, and leadership to champion a safe working environment, deliver engaging training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead HSE initiatives that drive employee engagement and improve performance.
*
Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, particularly within the wind industry.
*
Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
*
Conduct site safety walks, behavioural safety assessments, and in-house training.
*
Perform audits to support business management systems and ISO certification.
*
Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
*
Support awareness campaigns and broader HSE initiatives across the business.
Qualifications & Experience
*
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
*
Strong IT skills.
*
GWO Basic Safety Training (desirable).
