HSE Advisor - Senior - Foundation needed for a Major Offshore Wind Developer in Poland.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and guidance on safe work practices, safety standards, and legal HSE regulations.
Promote and drive a positive, proactive HSE culture through leadership, engagement, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned.
Support the identification and elimination of hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
Maintain up-to-date HSE knowledge on best practices and legal requirements.
Ensure HSE compliance with the clients processes, management systems, and legal registers.
Facilitate and participate in safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, briefings, Safety Walks, inspections, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, and cultural programs.
Review HSE documentation, including Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
Monitor, assess, and report on internal and external HSE compliance and performance using incident reporting tools (e.g., Synergi).
Coordinate and report on safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and lessons learned.
Liaise effectively with contractors, client representatives, project managers, regulators, and other stakeholders to promote a strong HSE culture.
Participate in internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings, inspections, and incident investigations.
Deliver HSE inductions, presentations at kick-off meetings, and other relevant training sessions.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely HSE reports, walk reports, and data entries.
Ensure own safety and training certificates remain valid and maintain up-to-date professional competence.
Be proactive in supporting offshore trips, site visits, and ad hoc HSE advice to teams.
Requirements:
Proficient English language skills.
Experience of supporting offshore Foundation Installation scopes or Heavy Lift activities is beneficial.
Relevant academic or technical background in HSE or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years' HSE experience, ideally in onshore renewable or offshore windfarm construction.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Synergi is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of root cause analysis and incident investigation.
Proven experience managing HSE with third-party contractors.
NEBOSH Level 3 (or similar recognised HSE qualification) required.
Valid, clean European driver's license
