A fast-growing, innovative clean technology company is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental strategy across engineering, manufacturing, and site-based projects.
The Role:
You’ll take ownership of the HSE function across the full project lifecycle—from design and production through to installation and commissioning. The focus is on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing high-risk operations, and embedding a strong, proactive safety culture across all teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain HSE systems aligned to ISO standards
Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and industry best practice
Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Support safe delivery of engineering projects and site operations
Oversee contractor safety and high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, pressure systems, hazardous substances)
Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety cultureAbout You:
Proven HSE leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or energy sectors
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential; relevant degree preferred
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and process safety
Experience in high-hazard environments (e.g. chemicals, gas, or similar)
