Job Description
M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of global manufacturing organisation who requires a HSE Officer.
As the HSE Officer you will be responsible for supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility and making sure policies are implemented consistently
Further duties will include:
*Continually assess the status of HSE within the plant (ISO 18001/ IS(phone number removed)
*Support the HSE Coordinator in the coordination and management of COSHH, PUWER, LOLER etc. recording and reporting any non-compliance and following up on any actions
*To ensure risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and to take part in these as appropriate
*Support the delivery of training events for HSE Basics, Work Place Data Sheet and Manual Handling etc.
*Ensure that the objectives of the EMS are being met.
*Conduct HSE inductions for new starters
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
*NEBOSH Certificate
*IOSH Managing safely
*Experienced working within a fast paced manufacturing environment within a HSE capacity.
