About the Role
A leading service provider is seeking a motivated and experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a health and safety professional who is passionate about delivering high standards, supporting national operations, and ensuring best practice across multiple contracts.
In this key role, you’ll be responsible for embedding health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) practices across the organisation. You will ensure policies and procedures are compliant with both legislation and business objectives, while providing practical support and training to staff at all levels.
This role will involve regular travel to sites across the UK, supporting the business with risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and ongoing compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Champion HSEQ compliance and drive a culture of continuous improvement
*
Implement and monitor effective HSEQ systems and procedures
*
Ensure alignment with legislation and internal policies
*
Conduct incident investigations and advise on remedial actions
*
Carry out site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
*
Provide HSEQ guidance and training to teams and management
*
Analyse data to support business decisions and risk mitigation strategies
Skills & Experience Required
*
NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (essential)
*
Internal auditor qualification (ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001)
*
Proven experience in a similar national HSEQ role
*
Strong knowledge of CDM legislation (desirable)
*
Confident in delivering training and engaging with all levels of staff
*
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
*
Self-motivated, organised, and detail-focused
*
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable Qualifications

Lead auditor qualification
*
Environmental qualification
