Job Description

Role: HSEQ Auditor Location: North West (regular site visits across the region) Salary: Up to £56,000 per annum + benefits Morson are working in partnership with Electricity North West (ENW) to recruit a Health, Safety & Environment Auditor to join their Technical Training and Assurance team. The Role You'll be responsible for: Planning and delivering health, safety and environmental audits across Electricity North West employees, contractors, and Independent Connection Providers Writing audit reports, agreeing improvement actions, and following up on closure Providing expert advice on compliance with legislation, codes of practice, and internal standards Identifying HSE risks and opportunities for performance improvement, supporting their implementation Representing Electricity North West at industry, contractor, and internal meetings About you We're looking for someone with: NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards it) and internal auditor training (OH&S management systems or equivalent) Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, ideally with experience in electrical distribution, utilities, or similar safety-critical industries Excellent report writing, communication, and influencing skills High integrity, independence, and excellent organisational ability Knowledge of Distribution Safety Rules, cable jointing, and overhead line working (desirable) What’s on offer As a vital team member, and in return for expertise, an inclusive approach, and commitment, Electricity North West offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to join a passionate and welcoming team.
