HSEQ Manager
Location: Chipping Norton
Salary: Circa £50,000 (open to discussion depending on experience)
Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced HSEQ Manager to join a growing and ambitious organisation. This role will take responsibility for overseeing the company's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality functions, ensuring best practice across the business while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead a small team and play a key role in risk management, compliance and operational standards, while also supporting the business in achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can operate both strategically and operationally, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to implement and maintain robust systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the HSEQ function across the organisation.
Provide leadership and oversight to HSEQ Officers, including Health & Safety and Quality functions.
Drive the company towards achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
Develop, implement and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
Take a proactive approach to risk management, audits, inspections and compliance.
Conduct investigations into incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure continuous improvement across safety, quality and environmental performance.
Oversee the management and governance of procurement activities, working alongside procurement professionals within the business.
Provide HSEQ support and oversight on industrial projects where required.
Ensure regulatory compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
Deliver training, guidance and support to teams across the business.Team Structure

Oversight of Procurement function (professional procurement staff in place)Requirements
Proven experience in a HSEQ Manager / Health & Safety Manager / Quality Manager role.
Experience implementing or working with ISO management systems, particularly ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to implement robust systems and processes.
Experience managing or mentoring HSEQ staff.
Ability to take a hands-on approach when required while also operating strategically.
Strong communication and leadership skills.Desirable
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
Previous experience supporting ISO accreditation processes.INDWARE
