Are you passionate about quality in engineering and ready to shape a brand-new HSQE function? This is a rare opportunity for a motivated HSQE Manager to build and lead a department from the ground up, taking full responsibility for two sites and driving a culture of excellence. Working with a motivated and talented team in modern, bright offices with state-of-the-art fresh air systems and all necessary equipment to ensure comfort, safety, and productivity. You’ll have direct contact with clients, full site accountability, and report only to 2 directors, giving you the freedom to make this role truly your own. Autonomy and ownership – full responsibility for Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment systems and outcomes. Direct client contact – ensuring quality standards and compliance are met from factory floor to customer delivery. Influence at a strategic level – accountable only to two directors. Flexible working hours: 38.75 per week Comprehensive benefits: Discretionary profit-related bonus Health cover after probation 22 days’ holiday (rising to 25) + 3 days at Christmas Company pension Free annual eye and hearing tests On-site parking and equipped break areas Key responsibilities of this HSQE Manager opportunity Lead Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment strategy and management systems across both sites. Champion quality excellence in an engineering and manufacturing environment. Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems. Drive continuous improvement and zero-defect culture. Analyse and act on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment data to identify risks and oportunities. Support client quality assurance requirements and represent the company during audits and meetings. Implement digital data collection tools to modernise reporting and traceability. About You You’re a confident, hands-on professional who thrives on autonomy and challenge. You want a role where your ideas matter and where you can influence how quality, safety, and environment are managed across a growing business. You’ll bring: Proven HSQE and Quality Management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001). Track record in continuous improvement, audits, and root cause analysis. Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients. Fluency in English; additional language skills would be an advantage. Degree or relevant professional qualification.
