Role: Human Factors Consultant (Consultant - Principal level)
Type: Permanent
Location: North West - hybrid working
Salary: £40,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience - negotiable)
SRG are currently partnered with a successful and growing business who are looking for an experienced Human Factors Consultant to join their team. This role is suitable for candidates from consultant to principal level (responsibilities will vary slightly).
As the Human Factors Consultant, you will be responsible for providing human factors design and safety across various hazardous client projects.
Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support the design and case/safety report assessments
Human Factors Design Support
Human Factors integration management
Human error identification
Human Factors verification and identification
Client facing - develop long-lasting partnerships.
Criteria:
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. Human Factors/ Ergonomics, Psychology, Industrial Design)
Extensive experience of delivering Human Factors support to highly regulated projects (e.g. Chemical, Nuclear, Oil & Gas)
Chartered status or working toward Chartership
Strong understanding of UK regulations
Willing to travel to client sites.
