Role Responsibilities of the Humanities Early Career Teacher (ECT):
Plan and deliver creative and engaging humanities lessons in line with the curriculum.
Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for humanities subjects.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to support achievement.
Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and departmental development.
Uphold high standards for classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding.
Job Requirements:
Early Career Teacher (ECT) status with specialism in Humanities (History, Geography, RS, or related).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Humanities.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive, reflective, and resilient approach to professional growth.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
