Humanities Teacher
A Humanities Teacher is needed for an outstanding independent school in North London.
September 2025 start
08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday
Term time only
Whetstone, North London
Competitive salaryThe school is for students aged 11-18 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, who are all on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Humanities Teacher Role:
To plan and deliver KS3, GCSE and A-Level English lessons of the highest standard to ensure learning and students' progress.
To design an engaging and challenging curriculum that inspires English studies.
To provide a nurturing classroom environment
To complete all reasonable tasks reported by the Head
To be a form tutor and to be main contact for key students
Humanities Teacher Requirements:
Educated to degree level or above
Qualified Teaching Status in the UK
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to be subject to an enhanced DBS check
